1984: He became a member of Enoeda Sensei`s Marshall St Dojo.

1986: Passed Shodan under Enoeda Sensei.

1989: Passed Nidan under Enoeda Sensei.

1990: Silver medallist in the 1990 Chiba Ken tournament.

1990-1991: Lived and worked in Tokyo. He trained at the JKA Honbu Dojo in Ebisu.

1997: Passed Sandan under Enoeda Sensei.

2004: Joined the JKS and the Seibukan Dojo under Alan Campbell Sensei.

2005: Passed Yondan under Kagawa Sensei.

Since joining the JKS Simon has taken part in Kangeiko at the JKS Honbu and travelled to Okinawa for the JKS World Championships. He regularly attends JKS seminars.

Simon enjoys the high standard of training at Seibukan and the challenge of keeping that standard when teaching.
