Image of the instructor 1994: Began training with Alan Campbell Sensei as one of his first students;

1995: Successfully started competing with the junior squad in regional competitions;

1996: Successfully started competing Nationally Inter club: Grand Champion;

1997: Along with 2 other members, became Alan’s first Junior Shodans; Became National Champion for the first time;

1998: Wins Seibukan’s Outstanding Achievement award at annual awards Competed at the 1st FSKA World Championships in London Club Captain;

2000: Became Alan’s first Nidan; Successfully represented England for the first time in Germany Competed at the 2nd FSKA; World Championships in Almada, Portugal;

2002: Competed at the 4th FSKA World Championships in Las Vegas, America; Squad Captain;

2003 Club Captain 2004 JKS International open champion, (Kata);

2005: Part of the JKS (GB) squad that completed Kangeiko (cold season training) in Tokyo, Japan;

2006: Invited to Ireland by Scott Langley Sensei to look after the JKS Ireland Hombu Dojo whilst Scott Sensei taught in Brazil;

2007 Became Alan’s first Sandan under Yamaguchi Sensei Competed at the JKS World Championships in Okinawa, Japan and successfully Completed Kangeiko for the second time;

2008: JKS European Championships, third place (senior male team Kata and Kumite); 2009: Opens own Dojo in Nottingham city centre;

To date, Alexander is Alan Sensei’s longest serving student at just short of 15 years continuous training. He has many years of teaching experience and has over 60 medals/trophies at National, European and World level. He has racked up many air miles attending technical seminars, courses, summer camps and competitions in Ireland, Germany, Portugal, America and Japan.
